Q: My lower dash is already packed with switches. Where can I mount a CarPlay screen?
A: The 10-inch touchscreen mounts in the open area above the factory switch panel. The vehicle-specific mount keeps the screen secure while adding a convenient storage box without taking up lower dash space.
Upper Dash Screen Mount: Uses the open space above the factory switch panel to mount a 10-inch CarPlay receiver without crowding the lower dash. The vehicle-specific housing keeps the screen secure and easy to see on rough trails.
10-Inch CarPlay Receiver: Connect through wired or wireless Apple CarPlay to access maps, calls, and music from a compatible iPhone. Bluetooth calling, Bluetooth audio, FM radio, multimedia playback, and USB media are also supported.
720P AHD Backup Camera: The wired AHD camera sends a 720P rear view directly to the screen without WiFi. Shift into reverse and the display automatically changes to the camera image for a better look behind the vehicle.
Built-In Storage Box: The dash mount does more than hold the screen. A covered compartment beneath the receiver gives small essentials a dedicated place while making better use of the upper dash area.
OEM Style Fit: The HDPE housing matches the shape, texture, and color of the X3 interior for a clean factory look. The dash mount uses factory mounting points with no cutting or drilling. The rear camera mounts separately with screws.

A5: No. The upper dash mount uses the factory mounting points, so no drilling or cutting is required. The rear camera is secured separately with screws to the rear bumper or protective panel.
Q6: Can I download apps or install new software on the CarPlay receiver?+
A6: No. The receiver does not have built-in storage for downloading or installing additional apps or software. The receiver is limited to the built-in system features.
