Q: Can I switch between different exhaust sounds on my Can-Am Maverick X3?
A: Yes. The 3-inch electronic exhaust cutout lets you switch between a louder, more aggressive exhaust note and a quieter exhaust note through the muffler.
3-Inch High-Flow Design: The full 3-inch valve section replaces the factory catalytic mid pipe with a less restrictive exhaust path. Reduced backpressure promotes better exhaust flow and helps reduce heat buildup in the exhaust system.
Switchable Exhaust Sound: Open the electronic dump valve for a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note through the 3-inch bypass. Close it to route exhaust through the factory 2.5-inch muffler for a quieter sound. Switch modes from inside the cab.
Stainless Steel TIG Welds: Stainless steel tubing and TIG welded joints provide strength and corrosion resistance for demanding off-road conditions, standing up to repeated heat cycles and rugged riding.
Factory Muffler Fit & Dual O₂ Ports: The 2.5-inch outlet connects to the factory muffler and compatible aftermarket options, so replacing the muffler isn't necessary. The exhaust pipe retains the factory O₂ sensor location and adds a second port for an auxiliary sensor or data logging.
Direct Bolt-On Installation: Designed to fit the factory mounting points without cutting or welding the exhaust tubing. The included wiring harness connects the electric exhaust cutout and cab switch without splicing into the factory wiring.

A1: No. Closing the electronic exhaust cutout routes exhaust through the factory 2.5-inch muffler for a quieter note. The sound may still be louder than stock because the factory catalytic converter is removed.
Q2: Can I keep my factory muffler?
A2: Yes. The 3-inch valved exhaust mid pipe transitions to a 2.5-inch outlet designed for the factory muffler. Compatible aftermarket mufflers with matching connections can also be used.
Q3: Does installation require cutting factory wiring?
A3: No. The included wiring harness connects the electric exhaust valve and cab switch without splicing into the factory wiring. You can switch exhaust modes from inside the cab.
Q4: Can I install a second oxygen sensor for data logging?
A4: Yes. The stainless steel exhaust pipe retains the factory O₂ sensor location and includes a second port for an additional compatible sensor. Seal the unused port with the supplied plug.
