A: Manrock Door handles provide a solid pull-up control near the upper door edge, making the release easier to find by touch. A short upward movement operates the door latch and allows a faster exit from the cockpit.
Direct Pull-Up Release: Manrock door handles replace the factory soft straps with a solid release point near the top of each front door. A short upward pull operates the door latches without reaching around the inner door panel.
Durable Aluminum Construction: Manrock door latches use lightweight aluminum alloy for a firm and consistent pulling surface. The rigid metal structure replaces the flexible feel of a fabric strap and supports repeated driver and passenger use.
Automatic Assisted Door Opening: The hydraulic strut provides an assisted opening function. After pulling the door, the strut helps push the door open automatically to a suitable angle, reducing the need for additional manual effort. Q1: Are the door handles easy to operate while wearing riding gloves?
A1: Yes. The rigid shape and larger contact area are easier to locate by touch than the factory soft straps. A short upward pull releases the door without removing a glove.
Q2: Will normal door latching still work after installation?
A2: Correct installation changes only the release control and should not affect normal latching. Test closing, latching, and opening on both doors to confirm that the handles and connecting parts move freely.
Q3: Do the door handles replace the complete lock mechanism?
A3: No. The pull strap replacements operate the existing latch mechanism in place of the factory soft straps. The original door lock and latch assembly remain installed.
Q4: How many door lift supports are included in the package?
A4: The package includes 2 door lift supports (2PCS), providing a pair for both doors. Installing one on each side gives the doors balanced support when opening and closing.
Q5: How do the door lift supports work?
A5: Simply give the door a gentle pull, and the gas struts assist in swinging it open for easier entry and exit.
Q6: Do the door lift supports automatically close the doors?
A6: No. The supports do not automatically close the doors. They provide damping during closing to reduce sudden impacts and prevent the door from bouncing back due to momentum.
Q7: What does a UTV seat belt bypass plug do?
A7: The plug connects to the factory seat belt sensor harness and keeps the electronic signal recognized. On compatible Polaris and Can-Am UTVs, it can help avoid speed-limited mode when the factory buckle sensor is not being used.
Q8: Do I need to cut or modify the factory wiring?
A8: No. The bypass plug connects directly to the factory seat belt sensor plug under the seat. Installation does not require cutting, splicing, soldering, or changing the original harness.
Q9: Can I still use the factory seat belt after installing it?
A9: Yes. The plug only works with the electronic sensor signal and does not remove the factory seat belt. The seat belt should still be worn properly whenever the vehicle is driven.
